New words
reason, cause · sababmood · kayfiyatbreath · nafasto ask for help · yordam so‘rash
Explanation
If we understand why our mood went bad, next time we can watch out for that situation. For example, if we are tired we rest; if we are scared we tell a trusted adult. Ways to lift your mood: take a walk, draw, listen to music, talk to a friend, stroke a pet, do sport. If we make a list of things that give us good feelings, we can open it on a hard day. If a bad state lasts a long time, we always ask adults for help.
Worked examples
“The mood box”. Nilufar collected slips in a box: “Walk with my brother”, “Favourite song”, “Call grandma”, “Draw”. On a hard day she pulls out one slip and does what it says. Today she drew “Call grandma”. After the call her mood was much better.
Class activity
“My mood box”: children write 5 pleasant things on slips and make a small box. They show each other and swap ideas.
