Explanation

Question: “Is there a playground behind the school?” Answer: “Yes, there is.” or “No, there isn’t. There’s a park.” For many: “Are there any shops?” — “Yes, there are.” In a question “is” comes before “there”.

— Is there a café next to the bookstore? — Yes, there is.
— Is there a park behind the school? — No, there isn’t. There’s a playground.
Class activity

“Map game”: one child sees a town map, the partner does not. The partner asks “Is there a … behind the …?” and the first one answers. The partner tries to draw the map.
