Explanation
Food has 5 groups: fruit (apples, bananas), vegetables (carrots, peas), meat (and fish), grains (bread, rice, cereal), dairy (milk, cheese, yogurt). Question: “What kind of food is it?” — “It’s fruit.” Fish is in the meat group.

Class activity
“Food poster”: in groups draw 5 columns on a big sheet. Children cut food pictures from magazines and glue them in the right column.
