Explanation
In summer there is plenty of fruit, but unwashed fruit and dirty hands carry germs. The textbook has a funny poem about this by Muazzam Ibrohimova. We wash fruit before eating it, wash our hands with soap before meals and don’t swim in dirty water.
Worked examples
“The unwashed apple”. Kamol picked an apple in the garden and wanted to eat it right away. His sister said: “Stop, wash the apple first!” “Unwashed fruit has germs,” she explained. Kamol washed both the apple and his hands with soap. Then he enjoyed eating the apple.
Rule: fruit washed, hands clean, water clean.
Class activity
