Explanation
The textbook has the poem “I have a homeland, I have happiness” by Kavsar Turdiyeva. Each of us is a small part of our country. If we study well and work hard, our homeland becomes even more beautiful. Proverb: “Whoever has a homeland has happiness.”
Worked examples
“My dream”. I am in the first grade. Every day I do my homework on time. When I grow up, I will be a builder. I will build beautiful schools for our country. I am also a part of this land.
Main idea: studying well and working hard is a way to serve the homeland.
Class activity
“Tree of dreams”: each child draws their dream on a paper leaf and sticks it on a tree on the board. Then a tongue twister: «Qodir qirda qizil qovun qidirdi» (Qodir looked for a red melon on the hill).
