Explanation

Stars look tiny to us, but they are really huge balls of fire. Stars can be red, yellow, whitish or bluish. The Sun is the yellow star closest to Earth. Scientists watch the sky through a telescope. The textbook has the poem “Stars” by G‘ulom Shomurod.

Worked examples
“A starry night”. In the evening Dad and I watched the stars in the yard. The stars looked like little lamps. Dad said: “Actually they are huge balls of fire.” “The Sun is a star too; it is the star closest to us,” he added. I started counting the stars, but I couldn’t finish.
Did you know? The hottest stars are the whitish and bluish ones.
