Explanation
In this section we read about magic words, dressing well, dialogue, honesty, tidiness, bad habits, boasting, time and kindness. Good manners and fine character always help a person reach their good goals.
Worked examples
“It’s easy to be polite”. A polite child says hello and thank you. He dresses neatly and tells the truth. He doesn’t boast and doesn’t waste time. He does good things for others. Everyone respects such a child.
Good manners and fine character are the greatest wealth.
Class activity
Picture talk: the teacher shows a situation (a child not giving a seat to an elderly person). Children give their opinion and say what is right.
