Textbook Part 2, pp. 59–61
GoalLearn to plan time well and follow a daily routine.
New words
time · vaqtdaily routine · kun tartibidiscipline · intizomto manage in time · ulgurmoq
Explanation
Time never comes back, so we use it well. The textbook has a poem by Shukur Sa’dulla about a boy who “has no time” for anything. Abdulla Avloniy says: discipline means doing each task on time and in order. A daily routine is also good for health.
Worked examples
“Daily routine”. Lola made a daily routine and hung it on the wall. In the morning she gets up at 7 o’clock and does exercises. After school she first rests, then does her homework. In the evening she reads a book and goes to sleep at 9 o’clock. Lola manages to do everything.
Proverb: “Lose your time, lose your luck.”
Class activity
Children make a picture routine with the teacher: a clock face next to each activity (getting up, school, play, homework, sleep).
