Explanation
A fairy tale is made up, but it is rich in wisdom: we learn life lessons from it. The textbook tale “Wisdom and wealth” says that a clever head and hard-working hands are worth more than gold and silver. Today we read our own tale with a similar idea.
Worked examples
“The wise girl”. A king said: “Whoever finds the most precious thing will get a reward.” People brought gold and jewels. But one girl brought a piece of bread. “Gold cannot feed a hungry person, but bread gives life,” said the girl. The king was amazed by the girl’s wisdom.
Conclusion: wisdom and hard work are worth more than riches.
