Explanation

In this section we read about our great ancestors — Al-Khwarizmi, Beruni, Ibn Sina, Amir Temur, Ulugh Beg and Babur — and about ways of sending messages, stars, space and the water cycle. Today we remember what we learned.

Worked examples
“What I learned”. I learned a lot in this section. Al-Khwarizmi, Beruni and Ibn Sina are our great scholars. Ulugh Beg studied the stars, and Babur took the throne at 12. Water keeps moving in a cycle in nature. I will be a worthy descendant of my ancestors.
Remember: good behaviour is a sign of goodness.
Class activity

“Who is it about?”: the teacher gives a fact (made a globe... took the throne at 12... Amir Temur’s grandson...); children name the ancestor.
