Explanation
In this section we read about the signs of spring, spring flowers, returning birds, love for mothers, sumalak and Navruz. Spring is the season when nature wakes up and everything is renewed.
Worked examples
“Spring’s gifts”. Spring comes after winter. It brings us snowdrops and tulips. Storks and swallows come back. On 21 March we celebrate Navruz. Spring is the season of renewal.
Riddle: It comes after winter and stands before summer. (Answer: bahor — spring)
Class activity
“Spring basket”: children put spring picture cards in a basket (snowdrop, stork, sumalak) and set aside the winter ones (sledge, snowman).
