Explanation
Everyone sees their surroundings and thinks about them. From what we see we draw conclusions: if a home has a ball and children’s books, a child lives there. Keeping our world clean and beautiful is everyone’s job.
Worked examples
Small boots by the door — a child lives here.
People in the street hold umbrellas — it is raining.
Class activity
Children draw “My world”: home, family, yard, a favourite place — then show it and talk about it.
