Explanation
Each task needs its own things. For a maths lesson we take a notebook, a pencil and a ruler, but not a toy car. In winter we wear a warm jacket, in summer a light shirt. If we choose only what is needed, the bag is lighter and we save time.
Worked examples
For music school: a music notebook and a doira (hand drum). A football is not needed.
We wear festive clothes for a visit and a school uniform for school.
Class activity
“Pack the bag”: various things are put on a table (book, spoon, pencil, ball, ruler, doll). The teacher names a situation: “Art lesson”, “Trip”, “Sport”. Children pick only the needed things and say why.
