GoalTell things apart by colour, shape and size.
New words
colour · rangshape · shaklsize · o‘lchamodd one out · ortiqcha
Explanation
Every object has a colour, a shape and a size. A ball is round, a book is rectangular, a watermelon is big, a cherry is small. Using these features we sort things into groups and find the odd one out.
Worked examples
Tomato, apple, strawberry — all red.
Circle, triangle, square, apple — the odd one is the apple: it is a fruit, not a shape.
Class activity
Children find 3 things of the same colour in the classroom and name them.
