What do we see?
Textbook pp. 8–9
GoalKnow what information we get with our eyes.
New words
seeing · ko‘risheye · ko‘zto observe · kuzatmoq
Explanation
With our eyes we see the colour, shape and size of things and where they are. Some information comes only through the eyes, like a picture or a silent cartoon. Look after your eyes: read in good light and don’t stare at screens for long or too close.
Worked examples
The traffic light turned red — our eyes got the message “stop”.
Looking at a picture in a book, we saw that it was winter.
Class activity
“Sharp eyes”: put 6 objects on a table; children look for 10 seconds, then one is hidden. Which one is missing?
