The reflexive pronoun
The reflexive pronoun is a single word — “o‘z”. It takes the place of personal pronouns and mostly refers to a person, sometimes to a thing. It changes by taking possessive suffixes: o‘zim, o‘zing, o‘zi, o‘zimiz, o‘zingiz, o‘zlari. It often stands next to a personal pronoun and gives it strong emphasis: men o‘zim (I myself), sen o‘zing (you yourself), uning o‘zi (he himself) — that is, “nobody else but exactly him”. In a sentence it is a subject, object or attribute: O‘zi keldi (He came himself); o‘z yurtimiz (our own land). “O‘z” also occurs in set phrases: o‘ziga kelmoq (to come round), o‘zidan ketmoq (to faint or be carried away).
“Introduce yourself”: each pupil tells three sentences “About myself” using o‘zim, o‘zimiz or o‘z.
