Объяснение
Possessive suffixes are added to nouns and nominalized words and show belonging to one of three persons. After a vowel -m, -ng, -si, -miz, -ngiz, after a consonant -im, -ing, -i, -imiz, -ingiz are added. In participles and verbal nouns the possessive suffix shows the person and number of the doer. In names of regions, cities and organizations -i, -si express particularity; in words like kechasi, kunduzi they have fused with the word. Spelling: in words of two or more syllables k, q → g, g‘ (terak — teragi), the i of the second syllable drops (qorin — qorni), and nothing changes in nok, idrok and the like.
Примеры
Maktabimiz bog‘ida olmalar pishdi (Apples ripened in our school's garden). — maktabimiz: -imiz (1st person plural); bog‘i: -i (3rd person).
Singlim ertalab o‘qiganini aytdi (My sister said what she read in the morning). — singlim: the i dropped; o‘qiganini: participle + -i.
