Объяснение

The state language of the Republic of Uzbekistan is Uzbek; this is written in Article 4 of the Constitution. The Law “On the State Language” was adopted on 21 October 1989, and every year we celebrate that date as Uzbek Language Day. The status of state language does not take away the right of other peoples to speak, read and teach in their own mother tongue. More than a hundred nationalities live in the republic, and their languages deserve respect too. Uzbek belongs to the Turkic family: Kazakh, Kyrgyz, Turkmen, Tatar, Azerbaijani and Uyghur are its relatives.

Примеры

Non-Turkic languages: Russian, English, Chinese, Arabic, Hindi, Korean.
Работа в классе

“Related languages”: split the class into two groups. From language names on the board, one group picks the Turkic languages and the other the non-Turkic ones, and each writes them in a column.
