Объяснение

When a suffix is added or when we speak fast, sounds may change. These changes are of three kinds: addition, loss and replacement of sounds. An added sound is sometimes shown in writing and sometimes only pronounced. Shown in writing: when -ga, -da, -dan are added to the pronouns bu and shu, an n appears (bunda, shunga); when -ing is added to mavzu (topic), a y is added (mavzuying). Only pronounced: when a possessive suffix is added to words like orzu (wish) and insho (essay), a y is heard but not written (orzum); when two vowels stand side by side, a y may also be heard between them but is not written: radio, piano, ideal, milliard.

Примеры
bu + -ga = bunga; shu + -dan = shundan; mavzu + -ing = mavzuying.
orzu + -m: orzum (pronounced orzuyim); piano (pronounced piyano).
Работа в классе

“Which phenomenon?”: the teacher shows a word form (bunga, orzum) and children say whether the addition is shown in writing or not.
