Explanation

This review brings together Units 1, 2 and 3. Unit 1 was about green cities, roof gardens and how often we do things. Unit 2 was about personality, and we joined sentences with who, which and where. Unit 3 was about trips, if and when facts, and at, on and in. Word games help you to remember new words. In a riddle you say what a thing is, and the other person guesses. Use the frames: It is a place where … . It is a person who … . It is a thing which … .

Listen. Layla and Omar play a riddle game.

Nabil usually helps in the school garden on Sundays. He is a volunteer, and he is very organised. He always waters the plants before break. His friend Habiba rarely helps, because she is shy and nervous with the little children. But she is often the first to harvest the cucumbers. The two friends are never bored.
