Explanation

We breathe air into our lungs. Clean air is good for our bodies. Smoke and emissions from cars and factories make the air dirty. Many people feel better when the air is clean. We can help the air. We can walk or ride a bike for short trips. We can plant trees, because trees clean the air. We can ask a grown-up to switch off the car engine when the car waits. Read the table.

ProblemWhat we can do
Cars make smoke. We can walk or ride a bike.
There are not many trees. We can plant trees.
Engines stay on.We can ask a grown-up to switch them off.
