Units 10–12: places, directions and rules
In Units 10 to 12 you learned city places, directions and rules. Places: bank, library, post office, hospital, school, museum, station, market, square. Directions use imperatives: Go straight on. Turn left. Turn right. Cross the road. We say where a place is with next to, between and opposite. Rules use imperatives, too: Be quiet. Don’t run. Put litter in the bin. Look at Garden Road. Read the plan from 1 to 5.
