Explanation

To make a conservation poster, we follow steps. First we choose the message: save water or save electricity. Next we make a draft on scrap paper. We sketch one big picture and a few words. We check: is the picture clear, are the words short, can people read it from far away? Then we make the final poster with bright colours. In a team, each child sets a goal for the day, for example “draw the tap” or “write the words”. At the end we record if we finished or need more time. Cooperation means we listen, take turns, share the crayons and help each other.

Class activity

Make a conservation poster with your team. Choose water or electricity. Make a draft on scrap paper, and check it. Then make the final poster with bright colours: one big picture and a few words. Write your goal for the day, and at the end record if you finished. Then finish this sentence: “I showed cooperation when I …”. Put your poster up where people will see it.
