Explanation

A tour schedule is a plan for one day. For each part of the day, we write the time, the place and what to do there. Marwan plans a day for tourists in his city on the Nile. In Egypt the middle of the day can be very hot. So he plans outdoor places for the morning and the late afternoon. At midday the visitors eat lunch and rest. A good schedule has only a few places, so nobody is rushed. Tourists can be families, school groups or friends from other countries.

Class activity

Plan a tour. Choose four places in your town or city that visitors might like. Make a table with three columns: time, place and what to do. Put lunch and a rest in the middle of the day. Read your schedule to a friend. Ask: would you like this tour? What would you change?
