Write the phylum and class of three animals from your home or yard.
Free answer; for example, cat – chordates, mammals; hen – chordates, birds; ant – arthropods, insects.

Write the classification of the wolf and say what it shares with the domestic dog.
Chordates → mammals → carnivores → canids → dog genus → wolf; the same family and genus as the domestic dog.

If the bees in an orchard disappeared, what would plants and people lose? Write one more “if it disappeared” example for another animal.
Plants would not be pollinated, so there would be fewer fruits and seeds, and people would lose harvest and honey. For example, without earthworms the soil would become compact and less fertile.

What does the backbone do? Give one vertebrate and one invertebrate example.
It supports the body and protects the spinal cord inside it. Vertebrate: fish; invertebrate: earthworm.
