Folk literature is the tales, proverbs, riddles, legends and songs created by the people. Tales lead to goodness, proverbs give wise advice, riddles sharpen the mind, legends teach by example, and songs lift the mood.
Worked examples
“The people’s treasure”. Our people created tales, proverbs, riddles and songs. A tale teaches us goodness. A riddle sharpens the mind. A proverb is short but wise. And a song lifts the mood.
