Explanation

For a job to be effective we need three things: do it correctly, do it on time and finish it. First we make a plan, then do it step by step, and at the end we check the result. An unfinished job gives no result. What we learned this year — sequences, directions and comparing — helps with this.

Worked examples
Homework: done before dinner (on time), without mistakes (correctly), all of it (finished).
Planting a flower: get a pot → add soil → plant the seed → water it. Without water the flower won’t grow.
Class activity

“Tidy classroom”: children form groups and each group gets one job (stacking books, watering plants, wiping desks). They state a plan, do the job, and finally check each other: “correct, on time, finished”.

Practice

2
