Explanation
We can stay in touch online. Classmates can work on a project together from their homes, and friends and family can talk on a video chat. Some groups gather people who share an interest, such as chess, sports or films. Always ask a teacher or a family member first. Children of your age do not open social media accounts alone, and never accept requests from people they do not know. ICT also helps people of determination. A person who finds it hard to speak can use pictures on a device to talk with others and to learn language at school. Pupils who cannot leave home for health or other reasons can stay in touch with their teachers and receive their lessons. A digital tool can also help when something unexpected stops us from going out.
Nour’s class makes a project about the Nile. With their teacher’s plan and their families’ permission, the children share ideas and pictures from their homes, and put them together at school.
Omar’s grandmother lives in another city. Once a week, with his mother, he has a video chat with her. He tells her about school, and she smiles.
Seif has to stay at home for a week. His teacher sends the lessons, and Seif sends back his questions. He does not fall behind.
