Explanation
Foods are sorted into five food groups. Fruit includes apples, bananas and oranges. Vegetables include carrots, tomatoes and cucumbers. Grains include bread, rice and pasta. Protein foods include meat, fish, eggs, beans and nuts. Dairy foods are milk, yoghurt and cheese. Some foods come from plants, like apples and rice. Some come from animals, like eggs and cheese.
