Guvoh voqea paytida nima bo‘layotganini Past Continuous bilan tasvirlaydi: «A dog was barking at two boys. A cat was sitting under a tree. A girl was getting off the bus.» Qisqa voqea — Past Simple bilan: «I heard a loud noise and went out.» Ikki ish birga: «I was working in the café when I heard a noise.» When / while: «While I was working, I heard a noise.» Politsiya savollari: «What did you see?» «What was the driver doing?» Foydali so‘zlar: get on (transportga chiqmoq), get off (tushmoq), stand, sit, behind, near, on the ground. Savol: «Where was the red car? Why?»
