Объяснение
When a suffix is added, a sound in the word may drop; some of these changes are also shown in writing. In words like shahar, singil, burun, bag‘ir that take a possessive suffix, the vowel of the second syllable is not written: burni, singlisi. When -il is added to the verbs qayir and ayir, i drops: ayrildi. When -ov, -ala, -ovlon are added to the numerals ikki, olti, yetti, the final i also drops: ikkala, oltov, yettovlon. When -ni, -ning, -niki are added to the pronouns men and sen, one n drops: seni, mening; when -ay is added to past and sust, t drops: susay. In some words a sound drops only in pronunciation and is kept in writing: the last consonant of do‘st, g‘isht, farzand, xursand is hardly heard but is written.
