Explanation

This is the last lesson of Arabic A2. It brings the whole course together: verbs and sentences, the past, possession, plurals, family, home, food, health, clothes, weather, plans, travel, free time, study, work, comparing and telling stories. Read Layla's text aloud, line by line, and answer the questions. In line 3, حَارًّا has the ending -an because it comes after كَانَ. Then read the dialogue at the station and write your own story of six lines.

Write your own story of six lines about a holiday or a weekend: who went, where, what the weather was like, what you did first, then and finally, and your opinion. Use at least one comparative, one reason with لِأَنَّ and one date or month.
