Explanation

To read a text well, follow four steps. First read the title (عُنْوَان) and guess the idea (فِكْرَة). Then read the whole text once. Next read the questions; one question is سُؤَال and the plural is أَسْئِلَة. Last find the answer (جَوَاب) in one line (سَطْر) of the text. The question word tells you what to look for: مَن asks about a person, أَيْن about a place, مَتَى about a time and لِمَاذَا about a reason. Answer with a full sentence if you can.

يَوْم فِي الْحَدِيقَة
ذَهَبَ يُوسُف إِلَى الْحَدِيقَة مَعَ أُخْتِه سَلْمَى.
كَانَ الْجَوّ جَمِيلًا وَمُشْمِسًا.
لَعِبَ يُوسُف بِالْكُرَة، وَقَرَأَتْ سَلْمَى كِتَابَهَا.
بَعْد ذَلِك شَرِبَ يُوسُف الْعَصِير.
فِي الْمَسَاء رَجَعَ يُوسُف وَسَلْمَى إِلَى الْبَيْت.
