Explanation

At the airport (مَطَار) or at the station (مَحَطَّة) we meet travellers (مُسَافِرُون). A trip or a flight is رِحْلَة. To say how you travel, use بِـ and the vehicle: أُسَافِر بِالطَّائِرَة, “I travel by plane”. The letter بِـ is written together with the word and the word keeps its الْ. Travellers show the passport, جَوَاز السَّفَر, and go to the gate, بَوَّابَة. The past of “arrive” is وَصَلَ: وَصَلَ الْقِطَار, “the train arrived”.
