Asking for and giving advice: a blog post with exclamation marks
To give advice we use should and shouldnât: You should tell the librarian. You shouldnât shout at your friend. We can also use an imperative: Talk to your friend. Donât wait too long. To ask for advice we say: What should I do? Can you give me advice? In a blog post, write a title, then details about a problem you faced and how you solved it, then a call to action: Tell me your tips! Use an exclamation mark ! after a strong feeling or a command: What a day! Be careful! But do not use it after every sentence. Write 60 to 80 words, or up to 100 if you can. Do not name classmates in a blog.

Title: A Lost Library Book!
Last Tuesday I lost a library book, and I was very worried. I looked everywhere, but I couldnât find it. I told my mum, and she said, âYou should tell the librarian.â I did that, and the librarian was kind. She found the book in the lost-and-found box! Now I always put my books in the same place. Do you lose things too? Tell me your tips!
I am always tired in the morning. What should I do?
You should go to bed early, and you shouldnât use your phone at night.
Good idea! I will try it tonight.
