Discover P2 Term 1: Axis 1, Chapter 3
GoalDraw and tick what I like to do, and say how interests can lead to jobs.
New words
interest · something I like to do or learn aboutstrength · something I do wellsurvey · asking many people the same questiontick · a mark that shows I choose something
Explanation
An interest is something we like to do or learn about. A strength is something we do well. Our interests and strengths can help us think about jobs we may enjoy. A survey is a list of things with boxes. We tick the things we like. We can also draw our interests. One child may like animals and another child may like experiments. That is fine, because the world needs people with many different interests.

|---|---|
| A | care for animals or plants |
| B | make or fix things |
| C | sell things and count coins |
| D | show visitors around, plan trips, cook |
| E | test ideas, solve puzzles, use computers |
