Explanation

There are many ways to see the world. First we can get to know our own homeland, its cities, mountains and historic places. People go to other countries for various reasons: science Olympiads, music and sports competitions, work trips. There are also professions linked to travel: translator, guide, diplomat, tourism worker. But what matters most is that, in whatever field we are, we study well and become masters of our profession. Knowledge and work open new opportunities. A “successful person” is not only a rich or famous person but one who works honestly, does the job well and benefits others.

Worked examples
“Travel plan”. Hilola started a notebook “Around the world”. On the first page she wrote three notable places of her own region. Then she thought about what is needed for travel and wrote: language, knowledge, money and health. “To earn money I need a profession, and for a profession I need to study,” she concluded.
Class activity

“My path”: children draw a ladder, write their dream trip at the top and the steps leading to it on the rungs (study, learn a language, save money).
