Model: al-Khwarizmi systematised mathematical methods and Ibn Sina medical knowledge. This knowledge passed to other peoples and advanced science. So knowledge is a valuable asset for society.

The observatory was built in Samarkand in the 1420s; star positions were measured there and a scientific table was compiled. It is considered a major achievement of medieval astronomy.
