Kinds of transport

Textbook Part 2, pp. 16–18
GoalTell apart kinds of transport (land, water, air) and know what makes them move.
New words
transport · transportbus · avtobusship · kemaaeroplane · samolyot
Explanation

Long ago people travelled on horses, donkeys and camels. Today there are three kinds of transport: land (car, bus, train, bicycle), water (boat, ship) and air (aeroplane, helicopter). Most transport runs on petrol, gas or electricity, but we pedal a bicycle with our legs. The fastest transport is the aeroplane.

An aeroplane flies in the sky, a ship sails on water.
