Explanation
A year has 4 seasons and 12 months; each season has 3 months. In spring nature wakes up, trees blossom and Navruz is celebrated on 21 March. In summer it is very hot and fruit ripens. In autumn leaves fall. In winter it is cold and it snows.
Worked examples
Spring: March, April, May. Summer: June, July, August.
Autumn: September, October, November. Winter: December, January, February.
Class activity
Make a round “seasons wheel”: in 4 parts, draw each season (a blossoming tree, the sun, yellow leaves, a snowman). Photograph one tree in the yard each season to watch it change over the year.
