Why careful looking matters
Looking carefully means we notice small details. Yara noticed that the piece was old. The archaeologist noticed a tiny part of the pot. Careful looking helps scientists learn about the past: how people cooked, what they used and where they lived. It also helps us in daily life. We notice a wet floor, a friend who is sad or a car on the road. There is no wrong opinion about a story if we give a reason. We say: I think … because … .
