Landscapes: forest, lake, waterfall
Landscapes are the shapes of the land. A mountain is very high. A lake has land around it. An island has water around it. A forest has many trees. Water in a waterfall falls from a high rock. A coral reef is under the sea. In Egypt we have deserts, mountains, the Nile, lakes and the Red Sea with its coral reefs. Egypt has very few forests, but it has many palm trees. A postcard is a short card that we send from a trip. Read the model postcard.

Dear Hoda, I am in Siwa. It is an oasis in the desert, with palm trees and clean salt lakes. Yesterday we swam in a lake in the afternoon. In the evening we watched a beautiful red sunset. The people are friendly and the food is tasty. I miss you! Love, Yara.
