Four-sided shapes
Any flat shape that has four straight sides and four corners is a quadrilateral. A square has four equal sides and four square corners. A rectangle has four square corners too, but two sides are long and two sides are short. A rhombus has four equal sides, but its corners are not square. Count the sides and the corners with your finger.
