Explanation

In Egyptian, «my, your, his, her» are short endings added to the noun. My: ـِي (-i). Your: ـَك (-ak) to a man and ـِك (-ik) to a woman. His: ـُه (-u). Her: ـهَا (-ha). Two words are a little special: أَخ (brother) and أَب (father) add an extra ū: أَخُويَا (my brother), أَخُوك (your brother, to a man), أَخُوكِي (your brother, to a woman), أَخُوهَا (her brother). Learn them as whole words.
