Explanation
A man answers ุฃูููุง ูููููููุณ and a woman answers ุฃูููุง ูููููููุณูุฉ. The ending changes with the speaker. You can also say ุชูู ูุงู , โOK, all goodโ, for both. Most people add ุงูุญูู ูุฏู ูููููู, โthank Godโ: it is simply the normal polite thing to say. Then ask back: ููุฅูููุชูุ to a man or ููุฅูููุชููุ to a woman. ูู (wi) means ยซandยป; before a vowel it is only w: ููุฅูููุชู is said w-inta.
Mina asks Hana. Hana is a woman, so she says ูููููููุณูุฉ.
Hana
ุนูุงู ูููุฉ ุฅูููุ
Sara
ูููููููุณูุฉ. ููุฅูููุชููุ
Hana
ุชูู ูุงู .
Hana and Sara are both women. They use the women's forms.
Two answers, side by side.
Class activity
Practise with a friend or aloud. One of you asks, the other answers. Take turns, and pretend once to be a man and once to be a woman. Always finish with ุงูุญูู ูุฏู ูููููู and ask back.
