Constitutional duties of citizens
Answers are for parents and teachers.
1
Make a “Right – duty” table in your notebook (at least 5 pairs).
For example: education – study; property – tax; safety – obey the law; environment – protect; family – care.
2
Find three facilities built from taxes and write why they are important.
For example: a school, a hospital, a road – they serve everyone.
3
Write examples of how parents’ and children’s duties are carried out in your family.
Answers differ by family; for example, a child does homework and adults provide care.
4
Plan three things you can do over one week to protect the environment (safe tasks, with adults’ help).
For example: saving water, sorting waste, caring for yard or school trees.
5
Why are duties also written in the Constitution? Write your view.
Because social order and everyone’s rights depend on everyone doing their duties.
