Relations between society and nature
Answers are for parents and teachers.
1
Put the five stages in a table: name, period, level of impact on nature, one typical example.
Primitive – weak, hunting; agricultural – stronger, irrigation; industrial – strong, coal and steam engines; scientific-technical – very strong, global pollution and protection; ecological relations – balance, restoration.
2
List 4 natural and 4 technogenic objects in your locality.
For example natural: river/ditch, tree, soil, mountain; technogenic: road, school, power lines, canal. It depends on the place.
3
A city of 500 000 people where each uses 200 litres of water per day uses how many thousand litres per day? (Number only, in thousands of litres.)
100000
4
Why is it necessary to harmonise society's laws with nature's rather than try to make nature fit society? Write 3–4 sentences.
Nature's laws (water cycle, matter cycle) do not change; a society that breaks them faces ecological consequences, so the economy must be built within nature's limits.
5
Choose one daily habit (for example water or electricity use) and write how you could change it to reduce your impact on nature.
For example: turning off the tap while brushing teeth, switching off unused lights, using a reusable bag.
