Textbook pp. 36–37
GoalMake a colourful little house from paper shapes.
New words
house · uyroof · tomwindow · derazadoor · eshik
Explanation
A house has walls, a roof, a door and windows. We cut each part from a different colour, so the house is colourful. We glue the small parts on top of the big ones.
Worked examples
A yellow wall, a red roof, blue windows, a brown door.
Class activity
Steps: 1) Cut a big square (wall) and a triangle (roof). 2) Glue them on card. 3) Add a rectangle door and small square windows. 4) Draw a tree and the sun around it. Safety: when not cutting, close the scissors and put them in the middle of the desk.
