New words
circle · doirasquare · kvadrattriangle · uchburchakrectangle · to‘rtburchak
Explanation
Many things can be built from simple shapes. A square and a triangle make a house; circles make a snowman. First we cut the shapes along the lines, then try out where they go, then glue them.
Worked examples
A house: a square wall, a triangle roof, a small square window.
Class activity
Steps: 1) Cut out shapes drawn on coloured paper. 2) Place them on card to build a house, a tree or a car. 3) When you like it, glue them one by one. Safety: use scissors only while sitting and close them when you put them down.
