New words

Explanation
A chestnut is round, smooth and brown. We join two chestnuts with play-dough to make a body and a head. We add legs, ears and eyes from play-dough or matchsticks (with the heads removed).
Worked examples
A big chestnut for the body, a small one for the head: a puppy is ready.
Class activity
Steps: 1) Choose two chestnuts, a big one and a small one. 2) Put a play-dough ball between them and press firmly. 3) Roll 4 play-dough legs and stick them underneath. 4) Add ears, eyes and a tail. If a chestnut needs a hole, only an adult makes it.
